a lone wolf wanderd into the area and had to lay down for she was looking for her mate who had died last month and she had held his pup or pups sence the beging and finally it was time. all of a sudden a rossy pup poped out and didnt breath for a while but was surrounded by roses.

Cherokee walked out of her small corridor and realized that a she-wolf was in the cave and had just birthed a rosey pup, "Hello there. I'm Cerokee. Thats a beautiful pup." she said softly, gracefully bowing with her wings spread out a bit.

"why thank you" the mother said have you seen a gray wolf with moon light star eyes wallk through here?" she asked.

"Sorry Ma'am I haven't." Cherokee replied, her strong indian/native american accent making her voice sound very kind and calm.

"on no i must keep going then" and she got up and forgeting about her pup walked away to find her dead mate. While looking for her mate shes attacked by a bear dieing of starvation. Menwhile the pup wakes up hungry.

"Oh no she left her pup...oh my oh my! What do I do?!?" Cherokee asked herself while pacing back and forth. She noticed the pup was winning and moving so she rushed right over to it, "Don't worry little one I'll take care of you." she whispered to the pup, nudging its small head gently with her snoout.

rose wined a little more and fell back asleep.

Cherokee walked to the mouth of the cave when the pup fell asleep,"I wonder why its mother left." She sighed looking for even a h int of the pups mother. Not seeing her Cherokee walked over to the pup,"I wonder if its a boy or girl,"she asked herself,"ah....girl...hmmmm I think I'll call you rose." She laid down beside Rose, wraped a wing around her, and fell asleep.

when rose woke up she was starving and winned at the new wolf.

Cherokee woke up and stubornly rolled onto her back, her open wing collapsing on the ground,"Go ahead....feed....I'm sure I have pleanty of milk.." Cherokee yelped quietly and watched the pup stir.

rose padded up and started feeding. when she was done she snuggled up to the wolf and fell back asleep.

Rose found a nice warm spot and fell into a deep sleep not hearing the she wolf.

Cherokee slid her wing under Rose, holding her closer,"I wonder why your mother abandoned you......she wasn't to bright about that I can tell your goimg to grow up to be a gorgeous and brave she-wolf......" she trailed off, falling asleep again.

rose smiled and dreamed of her father brave and brown with a spot of pink from his mother and just like her mother discribed to her in her belly his eyes were likke stars and rose ppadded up to him "hi daddy why did you leave us?"
Daddy: "i didnt want to its just i was attacked by a mountain lion and killed but i will always watch over you." and he faded away.

~The next morning~

Cherokee woke up to Rose's light kicking and wiggling,"Ugh morning already? Oh well...." She groaned getting up and stretching her wings. She watched Rose try to find the warm wolf that she was sleeping on and giggled.

rose woke up and was hungry and padded over to the she-wolf and suckled for a moment and then sat down.

"Well good morning Rose!!" Cherokee yiped, now wide awake and as hyper as ever.Cherokee padded over to Rose and nudged her head with her nose.

rose whined as Cherokee nugged her head. and she layed back down in thought about her dream and her father and mother.

Cherokee studied Rose's expresion and asked softly,"What are you thinking about ?" knowing she most likely wouldn't get an answer she sat down beside Rose and lightly put a wing on her.

rose tryed to explain but the only thing that came out was a wimper.
